Snap a photo.
AI prepares the details for your review.
Snap a picture of a bill or receipt and let Plu handle the rest. Our AI financial assistant instantly extracts the merchant, items, amount, and a suggested category so you can review the details before saving.
Let Plu help.
Or take the wheel yourself.
Plu can prepare entries and carry out supported actions when you ask. The complete manual interface stays available, so you can add transactions, shape budgets, review reports, and organize goals your own way.
Everyday tools stay hands-on
Record income and expenses, manage budgets, set goals, and track recurring costs without using AI.
You can review the important parts
Receipt details are prepared for review, and destructive AI actions require confirmation before they are completed.
Most apps charge for the useful half.
Exporting your own data. Seeing a full report. Adding one more account. These are the things a tracker is for, so they are part of the app and they stay that way.
Free, permanently
- Unlimited transactions, accounts and categories

- Every theme, including OLED true black
The things people keep asking other apps for.
Small things, mostly. The ones that decide whether an expense tracker survives past the second week. They are all here, and none of them costs extra.
PDF statements
Export a clean statement for a reimbursement claim, a visa file, or your own records.
A month that starts on pay day
Set your cycle to the 1st, the 7th, or whenever salary actually lands. Budgets follow it.
Transfers are not spending
Moving money between your own accounts, or paying a card bill, will not show up as an expense.
Home-screen widget
Log an expense without opening the app, from a widget or a Quick Settings tile.
True-black theme
A real black, not dark grey, so an OLED screen actually switches those pixels off.
Phone and desktop
The same ledger on your Android phone and in any browser, with your data moving on your terms.
Powerful AI is a choice,
not a requirement.
Core financial records begin in storage on your device. When you ask Plu for help, the prompt, relevant context, and any receipt image you attach are sent for that request to the AI provider. If you want a fully private workflow, leave AI disabled and use the complete manual workspace locally.
Work locally
Track everything locally without sending records to an AI provider.
No Ads
Pludo does not sell your records or use them for advertising.
Back it up when you want to
Turn on automatic Google Drive backup and every copy is encrypted on your device before it uploads, into a private area of your own Drive that even Google can't read.
“Financial software should do more than display numbers. Plu can answer questions and help complete the work, while the full manual workspace keeps every decision in your hands.”

What people are saying.
I usually forget to note down my expenses, but after using Ledger it has become a habit. The feature I like the most is Plu AI. I just upload a bill or screenshot, and it updates the correct account for me. I can also keep track of my cash and bank accounts in one place, add notes whenever I want, and edit entries if I make a mistake. Now I have a clear idea of where my money goes every month, and it has really helped me manage my expenses better.
As a working woman juggling office hours, household chores, and expenses, this app has been a lifesaver. I can track groceries, EMIs, and bills in seconds and finally see where my salary goes. It helps me budget smarter and save for my family's future.
I started using Ledger a few weeks back. Before this, I always found it hard to keep track of my expenses. I would forget to note things down and not able to track it. Now I just send a screenshot of the payment I made and it gets added on its own. I really love this feature. It's so easy now to see where my money is going. And also it has many features like keeping reminders, recurring expense, etc. Just enter the date and amount, it is automatically tracked every month. Set a budget and it sends a reminder for you when you reach it. Very easy to use and very useful.
I track a lot of cash spends, autos, chai, small stuff. Ledger's the first app where logging that daily hasn't felt like a chore. The recurring reminder for rent is the one notification I actually don't ignore.
Ledger has been really useful for tracking my personal expenses, managing and monitoring them has become a lot easier and more organized. The AI chatbot is my favorite part, it makes expense tracking convenient and interactive. The UI is clean, simple, and easy to use too.
Been using it to keep my freelance income and expenses separate. Took me a bit to set up categories the way I wanted, but once that was done it's been low effort. The budget alert has saved me from a couple of overspends this month.
Pludo Ledger has made managing my finances so much easier. The interface is simple, clean, and easy to use, while the AI assistant makes tracking expenses and understanding my spending habits feel effortless. I especially love how quickly I can record transactions and keep everything organized in one place. It's a great tool for anyone who wants to take better control of their money without dealing with complicated finance apps.
Before using Ledger, I often lost track of small expenses and never had a complete picture of my spending. What I like most about the app is how simple it makes expense management. The AI feature saves me time by automatically capturing details from bills and screenshots. I can easily manage both my bank accounts and cash transactions, and updating or correcting entries is very convenient. Since I started using Ledger, I have become more mindful of my spending and can plan my monthly budget much better.
I'm very particular about tracking every rupee, but there are days I'm too burnt out to sit and log everything manually. What I like most is that it doesn't need you to connect your UPI or bank account, which gives me a lot more comfort around my financial data. You just tell the assistant what you spent and it records it for you. Recurring expenses are handled well too, so it's a simple, private way to stay on top of my spending without the pressure of typing out every transaction.

Personal finance app questions, answered.
Direct answers about Plu, manual control, local storage, receipt scanning, pricing, and installation.
Is Pludo Ledger an expense tracker?
Yes. Pludo Ledger is an AI expense tracker and personal finance app. You can record income, expenses, and transfers manually, or ask Plu to prepare supported entries, analyze spending, manage budgets, and scan receipts. A bank connection is not required.
What can Plu do with my financial data?
Plu can answer questions about the financial context you choose to share, analyze spending, add supported records, help manage budgets, and prepare receipt details. Plu acts when you ask it to, and destructive changes require confirmation. AI output can still be wrong, so review important records and conclusions.
Do I have to use AI to use Ledger?
No. Transactions, budgets, goals, recurring payments, reports, and exports all have manual workflows. You can leave AI disabled and use Ledger as a fully local personal finance workspace if that is how you prefer to work.
Where is my data stored?
Ledger stores core financial records on your device by default. Authentication, setup sync, AI requests, exchange-rate lookups, notifications, and peer-to-peer transfer can use online services when you choose the related feature. Export tools let you keep a separate .lbx (Ledger Backup Exchange) backup.
Can I use Ledger as a manual expense tracker without connecting a bank?
Yes. You can create accounts and record income, expenses, and transfers manually without linking a bank. The conversational assistant and receipt scanner can help prepare entries, but manual tracking remains available throughout the app.
Can AI scan a receipt and prepare an expense entry?
Yes. You can attach a receipt image and ask Ledger to extract details through Plu. The app prepares fields such as the merchant, items, amount, and suggested category for you to review before saving. Receipt processing is not performed entirely on-device.
Does Ledger work offline?
Core records and previously loaded app resources can remain available through local storage and the installable web app. Features that contact an external service, including AI processing, authentication, exchange-rate retrieval, notifications, or device transfer, need a network connection.
Does Ledger support multiple currencies?
Ledger lets you choose a primary currency and stores a currency on transaction records. A standalone currency converter with live exchange rates is included, and the assistant can retrieve exchange rates when connected. Review converted values carefully because the app is a personal record-keeping tool, not a foreign-exchange or accounting service.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Turn on automatic Google Drive backup and it is handled for you. Each backup is encrypted on your device before it is uploaded, and it goes into a private area of your own Google Drive that stays hidden from your normal Drive files, so Google cannot read it and we never store a copy. Signing in on a new device offers to restore it. You can also export an .lbx backup yourself or transfer directly between devices.
Is Ledger available as a desktop or Android app?
Yes. The primary way to use Pludo Ledger on Android is the dedicated app on Google Play. For iPhone and desktop, an installable web app offers the same features.
How is the monthly AI allowance used up?
The free plan includes a monthly allowance of AI credits. Sending Plu a message costs one credit. Scanning a receipt costs two, because reading an image takes more work than reading a sentence. Everything else, including recording transactions, budgets, goals, recurring payments, reports, and backups, costs nothing and has no limit. The allowance resets at the start of each month.
Is Ledger free?
Yes. The free plan covers manual tracking, budgets, goals, recurring payments, reports, local-first storage, encrypted Google Drive backup, and a monthly allowance for bill scanning and Plu. Those core tracking features stay free permanently. A paid plan is in development and will raise the AI allowance, but its price and its full feature list have not been announced.
Put Plu to work on your money.
Ask questions, organize transactions, manage budgets, and understand your spending faster. Use the full manual workspace whenever you prefer, or turn AI off and keep the workflow local.
